When it Rains, It Pours

Here in the Northeast, it's been raining like CRAZY! Every day in June so far has seen some amount of rain. The skies are gray, everything is damp, it's downright depressing. I am considering rocking a light visor just to get myself out of the rain-induced funk.

Ok, so my funk isn't necessarily completely rain-induced. Among other issues, the car accident I had in April has provided some unwelcome hurt in my life. I'm a regular now at my local Physical Therapy office instead of the gym. Obviously, the workouts are much less strenuous, but more painful. I've managed to keep the scale from moving up, but I'm turning into a ball of marshmallow.  And the scale isn't exactly sliding down into new jeans land.

What's missing most of all? Accountability. Discovery. Focus. Inspiration.
Basically, everything this blog provides for me, and hopefully for you as well.

So now I'm over whining that the wagon I'm supposed to be back on isn't stopping for me. As one wise woman on Twitter reminded me that I'm actually supposed to be running after it (thanks @Hanlie).

I'm getting my jump start with my eating clean magazine cover diet. It's food I like, and removes the decision factor from my food choices - the wonder of deliciously fattening possibilities gets me every time (and by every time, I mean everyLUNCHtime - sorry local eateries, you might want to budget for my absence).

I'm going back to posting here on a regular basis, and even more often on Twitter. I declare myself back on track! Now if I could just get the rain to stop...

OH my gosh. I did not know of your car accident. Hope you're healing well. This teaches me for not staying in touch. You know what? When the rain ends we are going to have mega mosquitos! Oops didn't mean to get you down again! Remember lemongrass essential helps with those pesky bugs.

Hang in there, the sun will shine soon. I mean it, really. I live as Northeast as you can get in North America, and it is shining right now.
